Changes to Standard Dulux Powders
During the month of June our standard Dulux powder coat finishes will become
A1 - Silver Reign - This finish has been discontinued by Dulux and is not to be replaced. We are currently trialling a new clear coat finish which will present a unique option and a true metallic look which we hope to introduce as the new A1 finish in July or August.
A2 - Black - Dulux Electro Black Ace has been discontinued and will be replaced by Dulux Duratec Black (90E9190Z). The new Duratec Black is more textured in appearance which we feel is an improvement over the previous Electro finish
A3 - Bronze - No change. This finish remains Dulux Electro Medium Bronze (9068183K)
A4 - Venerable Silver - Dulux Electro Venerable Silver has been discontinued and will be replaced by Dulux ProTexture Basalt (20T7723F). The Basalt finish is a deeper grey with a textured finish.
A8 - White - Dulux ProTexture Natural White has been added as a standard finish (20T1119F)
In general, the move to textured finishes enhances wearing characteristics and improves scuff / dirt resistance. It also in our opinion looks better.
Limited stocks of Black Ace & Venerable Silver will be held for special use where matching to prior projects is required but we cannot guarantee availability of the discontinued powders for long.
